We (my girlfriend and I) just returned from a brilliant 2 weeks backpacking down the Dalmation Coast in Croatia and 3 days city-break in Ljubljana. I cannot recommend the Dalmation Coast enough – there was barely a place we visited which wasn’t stunning, pretty unspoilt and relatively cheap.

I’ll be posting highlights on this site as soon as possible! It should be noted that the Rough Guide to Croatia is a bit ropey – certainly did well giving us an overview, but was rather unreliable on frequency of ferries, buses etc. which makes planning the trip rather difficult.

Makes me wonder whether a Travel Wiki would be a better way to pull together travel guides.
