Localised Man Flu Outbreak
Thursday, February 8th, 2007 @ 6:20 pm | announcements
Ah bum.
I’ve been under the weather all week, taking half-days here and there, denying the obvious – now I’ve got extreme Man Flu piled up on top of me like something warm, heavy and quite smelly. Like I imagine a hippo to be.
It has somewhat scuppered my plans to go to Band tonight, so the pivotal role of 2nd Baritone Horn will go unfilled this week as we prepare for the areas on March the 18th.
Why is this interesting? Why is it on my blog?
Well, as anyone who has ever had it before can tell you, when you have Man Flu, it’s NEWS.

Me too. Got back from boarding, and it hit. Watched 17 hours of TV on monday. Yesterday felt like my kidneys were popping out.
Hope I’m ok for my leaving drinks tomorrow.

Of course Manflu outbreaks are newsworthy!
I’ve also just got back from a happy week’s snowboarding, only to have my post-holiday misery compounded by a horrifying, life-threatening case of A Bit Of A Cold.
But I’m huddled at my desk like a modern-day Jean d’Arc, rather than watching hours of telly or buying Wiis. Slackers.
