Localised Man Flu Outbreak

Feb 08, 2007 in announcements

Ah bum.

I’ve been under the weather all week, taking half-days here and there, denying the obvious – now I’ve got extreme Man Flu piled up on top of me like something warm, heavy and quite smelly. Like I imagine a hippo to be.

It has somewhat scuppered my plans to go to Band tonight, so the pivotal role of 2nd Baritone Horn will go unfilled this week as we prepare for the areas on March the 18th.

Why is this interesting? Why is it on my blog?

Well, as anyone who has ever had it before can tell you, when you have Man Flu, it’s NEWS.

How to get an Sony Playstation 2 EyeToy working as a webcam on your PC

Feb 04, 2007 in announcements

I wrote a post last year about this which gets picked up in Google quite often.  I realised the other week that the link I’d provided had died, so I’ve updated my original post, including a new link to the EyeToy PC drivers.

Moving my gallery to Flickr…

Oct 15, 2006 in announcements, internet, photography

Finally given in and admitted that Flickr, with added Yahoo stability, is actually the best way to put my photos online.

It’s taking a long time to move all my travelling photos over, but I’m getting there.

And I might even transition by blog to Blogger, as there’s a nifty way to mirror it onto my hosting via FTP, I’ve been reading.

Have a look at my budding new gallery here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tcbutler/

Photo Gallery improved

Right, so step 1 of the plan I started 2 years ago was to get some of my photos reliably onto the web. Travelling photos now at http://gallery.tcbutler.co.uk. Step 2 was to add a load more. Not done that yet. I’ve jumped to Step 3, adding them to the main site, which I think is now working:
