Moving my gallery to Flickr…

Finally given in and admitted that Flickr, with added Yahoo stability, is actually the best way to put my photos online.

It’s taking a long time to move all my travelling photos over, but I’m getting there.

And I might even transition by blog to Blogger, as there’s a nifty way to mirror it onto my hosting via FTP, I’ve been reading.

Great evening in the Bush

Just returned from a thoroughly pleasant evening at a meal with university friends in the Bush (Shepherd’s Bush). A fantastic meal, great company, and a short journey home; happy days.

More thoughts on the Panasonic FZ30 digital camera

Much to my excitement, my first subscribed issue of Digital Camera Magazine dropped onto my mat yesterday, complete with the review I’ve been waiting for. They award the FZ30 91% (the same as the older 5 mpix FZ20) contrasting with ‘only’ 88% for the new Fuji 9500, which they describe as very sluggish and hard to use. (more…)
